Instructional technology is becoming very important in the field of education. Deaf and hard of hearing kids need to be as informed as hearing kids about these new technologies. My goal is to give teachers the tools they need so that our kids have as much access to technology as hearing kids. Additional Resources The National Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID) has held three international symposiums concerning instructional technology and the education of the Deaf. I have been lucky to go to two of them. The symposium from 2005 (and maybe 2003) has streaming video with captions so you can watch the presentations that were held.
